The Deputy Ministry of Shipping has announced the launch of the third season of the Cyprus-Greece Maritime Passenger Link during a press conference held on yesterday.
Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanoli highlighted the importance of reviving this maritime connection, which has exceeded expectations since its inception two years ago.
Last season alone, the service transported 7407 passengers, 455 pets, and 2496 accompanying vehicles, creating a new market segment for travelers with private cars and motorcycles seeking transportation between Cyprus and continental Europe.
The ferry ‘DALEELA,’ which has been operating the service for the past two years, will continue to provide improved services to passengers.
Departures from Cyprus will now be from the port of Limassol, with the first sailing scheduled for May 29 and the final sailing from Piraeus to Limassol set for September 3.
Bookings and ticketing will open on Wednesday, April 17, allowing travelers to plan their summer journeys via sea passenger service.
