It has been reported that a tourist named Eric Marten Gurberg, died in Çayırova (Agios Theodoros) yesterday. The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) announced the new tariffs that will be valid as of tomorrow (Friday). It has been reported that single and multi tariff electricity rates has increased. Ercan Airport’s backup generator did not function after a power cut was experienced causing disruption to planes landing and taking off for an hour and a half, it has been reported. Passengers had to disembark the aircrafts. Flights coming from Ankara, Adana, and Antalya were forced to return due to the problem experienced.
