Links of the ‘fake-diploma’ scandal, that took place at the Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University operating in Güzelyurt, have broadened to top officials from the police department.
According to Diyalog, Gazimağusa (Famagusta) Police Chief Barış Sel was called to testify yesterday evening.
Barış Sel is allegedly being accused of using a fake doctorate diploma.
Meanwhile, YÖDAK Secretary General Derviş Refiker and police officer Şerif Avcil also a body guard of Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, are expected to appear in court today.
