The road between the Cyprus Garden roundabout (Lokum roundabout) and Ötüken (Spathariko) roundabout will be closed to traffic for vehicles heading towards Gazimağusa (Famagusta) in line with the İskele Long Beach Run.
A police report announced that the İskele Long Beach Run organized by the TRNC Athletics Federation will take place between 7.30 am and 12 pm on Sunday.
It has been reported that the road heading towards Gazimağusa, between the Cyprus Garden roundabout (Lokum roundabout) and the Ötüken (Spathariko) roundabout on the Gazimağusa-Karpaz (Famagusta) main road will be closed to traffic by the police department. The road leading to Karpaz will be open, it has been reported.
Those travelling to Gazimağusa (Famagusta) from Karpaz will take a right at the Cyprus Garden roundabout and be diverted through to the Ercan main road- Ünimar roundabout- Sınırüstü (Sygkrasi) -Aygün (Agios Georgios) and Ötüken (Spathariko).
Drivers have been advised to drive slowly and carefully for the safety of themselves and the athletes, and also to obey traffic signs.
